$1.00 Newsletter Editable Templates for the Classroom

Woop, woop! I have just created these cute Newsletter Templates which are editable. These are already formatted in WORD so are ready to open and write in you text. I have also included the same sets in png format. This allows teachers and administrators to insert into Power Point and edit there if that is what they prefer.

What I like about these, is that the are organic and raw which remind me of school children anyway. These aren't your slick willy templates, but are perfect for that classroom teacher who loves to share information wih their students and their families.

I am really looking forward to making more editable templates and the mind is going round and round with ideas. If you have any great ideas, be sure to pop them in the comments section below.

Love ya later!

$1.00 Worksheet Templates Unique and Original- So Fun to Do

Hey guys, for some reason I have an obsession with putting together interesting worksheets, so I've put some together in my shop Fun Creatives. I love hand drawn frames so I purchased some and also made some of my own and inserted them to make worksheet templates for sale in my shop.

I have also put together a set of blank task card templates which are very versitile and fun to use. I can't wait to use them myself.

More, more, more, I'm getting obsessed with making more. Keep tuned to my shop peeps as I'll be adding more!

Oh and not forgetting the new task card templates!!!

I have been working on this cute set of the BFG for a few days now and finally have it ready to post here and on the Teachers Pay Teachers site.

I read the book with students  last year and they loved the book. I thought why not add a set to TPT, infact the interesting thing is I noticed one other set, which was great too. But I thought why not add another set for interest.

I made another set of Matilda the other day and put that up in my store, and also made a digital pack of Matilda on Teachers Pay Teachers as well. We did a study of Matilda and we loved it. I just wish I had thought to put the pack together earlier for the study.

Oh well you live and learn.

Thanks.

I've been meaning to make this resource for a long, long time and finally I've done it. I am keen as mustard to use it this week in my class. Can't wait for the feedback with my kiddies.

These will be used over and over again for my teaching program. I love doing these myself.

Paperless and Digital Literacy Resources in the Classroom

Paperless and Digital Literacy Resources in the Classroom
Hello teachers and homeschool parents, I would like to introduce you to my new digital or paperless resources for Google Suite or Google Drive. This resource is based on Roald Dahl's book Matilda.

The resource is packed with interesting literacy activities with no prep and it allows students to
independently research and write in their own answers. No need to print or photocopy and then distribute individually. This saves on printing and hard work. Very little prep is needed for this pack.

Although I personally love to use hard copy resources and have students literally write and cut and paste information into books, I have really taken to having a variety of both digital or paperless and hard copy resources. This gives students options to choose or the teacher can choose how students will complete.

This pack comes as a pdf so can be uploaded into Googledrive/classroom/Seesaw etc or it can be printed out and photocopied …

Facts About the Water Cycle

Facts About the Water Cycle
Here is an easy way of teaching facts about the water cycle to your students. Please read the water cycle terms and their explanation beside them.
Evaporation: s a type of vaporization of a liquid that occurs from the surface of a liquid into a gaseous phase that is not saturated with the evaporating substance. The other type of vaporization is boiling, which is characterized by bubbles of saturated vapor forming in the liquid phase.
Precipitation: The product of the condensation of atmospheric water vapor that falls under gravity. The main forms of precipitation include drizzle, rain, sleet, snow, and hail.
Condensation:  is the change of the physical state of matter from gas into liquid, and is the reverse of evaporation
Runoff:  is the flow of water that occurs when excess stormwatermeltwater, or other sources flows over the Earth's surface.

Student Choice in Their Learning

Why do children love choice in their academic work, well they just do. Think about it  if your principal asked you to do something according to the book at precisely the same time each day, wouldn't you think it's time to change it up? Well it's the same with children. They need choice.
When I first began teaching which was about 15 years ago, I taught according to the prescribed mode. That means Reading, Writing and Math were at particular times of the day and all class members had to do the subject as I saw fit. But that is how I was trained and that's the way I thought would work. For me I found this system draining and the children themselves did not enjoy the routine day in and day out.
During my professional development time with a particular North Auckland School we were part of a school cluster which shared information and ideas. One day we had a day of lectures, workshops and teaching which we elected to do. One of these Lectures involved an Australian Princip…
